Become a Patron of the Stradivari Society®

As a Stradivari Society® patron, you are inducted into a select circle of music enthusiasts dedicated to preserving the tradition of string playing at the highest level. Patrons have found their relationship with the Society and the extraordinary young artists that are selected as recipients to be profoundly rewarding.

We invite you to consider acquiring a great instrument to loan to an outstanding artist and join us in our efforts to sustain the rich heritage of the past and encourage and nurture excellence in the future.

Own a Piece of History

Each instrument has its own unique story to tell. Some of the most important artists and influential political and business figures of the past have owned and played these very instruments.

  • The "Earl Spencer" Stradivari was once owned by the late father of the beloved Princess Diana.
  • Pablo de Sarasate, famed 19th-century violin virtuoso and composer, played and admired the "Ruby" Stradivari.
  • The "Wieniawski" Guarneri del Gesù takes its name from its most illustrious owner, the great Polish violinist and composer Henryk Wieniawski.
  • The "Leopold Auer" Stradivari was owned and named in honor of the most influential pedagogue of the late 19th- and early- 20th centuries — the legendary teacher of Heifetz, Elman, and Milstein.

"We support the opera, ballet, and symphony, but I personally have had the most fun with The Stradivari Society® — helping young artists with instruments and careers and watching them develop."

MARY GALVIN, FOUNDER AND PATRON

"I am comforted that my instrument is being maintained and cared for by the highest caliber of experts. This is important to not only me as the present owner but also to future owners in years to come."
